Unlike groups that rely on common arrangements and a conventional style, we perform from our own exclusive songbook, arranged by our founder, Ken Malucelli. This gives us a distinctive sound you won’t hear anywhere else. Just as important, we believe the joy should be genuine: if we’re not having fun and sounding our best, then you’re not getting what you paid for. That blend of artistry, authenticity, and merriment is what makes us truly unique. And with nearly 50 years of experience, we take our reputation very seriously—never taking for granted the privilege of doing what we love.
As fabulous as we are, our voices tend to get lost in a crowded room. 4 a cappella singers can’t compete with the buzz of a big party, although we shine in places where guests can actually pause and listen—like during transitions, at quieter moments, or in smaller gathering spaces within the event. We love greeting your guests as they arrive, and honestly it’s a really neat effect to have them walk past our caroling voices into your party. Temperatures in December can be bitterly cold, and your guests may be rushing by us to get inside. We’ll create the same effect if we sing right inside your front door, or provide some heat lamps to keep us warm and encourage your guests to stay to listen for a song or two.
While four singers can’t compete with the buzz of a big party, we shine in places where guests can actually pause and listen—like during transitions, at quieter moments, or in smaller gathering spaces within the event. We want you and your guests to enjoy their conversations, so we think it’s best if we’re not right in the middle of the party with them. Typically the best use of our talents is at an entrance, on a stairway, and/or in a stationary spot where people can pass by and listen as they wish.
CONSIDER SHOW FORMAT: After your guests have caught up during cocktail hour, we’re happy to entertain them as they sit for dinner or as they enjoy their dessert. Recommendation no longer than a 25 minute set.
We can do a little of both too. The good thing about being a cappella, is that we're adaptable and can move about pretty easily.
25 minutes - no break
45 minute performance: 20 mins. on/5 off/20 on
Up to 2 hours: 25 mins. on/10 off/25 on
More than 2 hours: 20 mins. on/10 off/20 on
There can be a little leeway, so feel free to ask in advance if we can make adjustments. (If Santa gets delayed on his way to your event, we don't want to be on a break as his sleigh pulls up)
We love our breaks to be discreet, so we appreciate a designated break area.
Absolutely! We perform both traditional and secular holiday songs, and we also offer carols in multiple languages, so we can tailor the program to fit your event.
That depends...
Every event is different, so it's difficult to give a definitive answer to this question. There are lots of ways we can bring happiness and cheer to your festivities, depending on the type of the event (ie. sit down dinner, cocktails, open house, strolling) and the size. Would you like us at the beginning, middle or end? Would you like us at the entrance as people arrive, strolling throughout the event, a shorter "show format" set or a little of each?
In general:
Private party - 15-60 minutes (15-25 minute show format is perfect!) We recommend any additional performance be background or at the entrance as guests are arriving. See FAQs for Private Party for more suggestions.
Mall/Strolling/Country Club & Wine Club events
2-4 hours.
Any performances over 4 hours will require 2 quartets.
See FAQs for Large Events for more suggestions
Sure... We are literally well-versed in choosing the tunes for your event, but we're happy to take requests too. See the link to the Songlist at the bottom of the Music Samples page of our website.
Sing alongs are a fun way to include guests in the music, but are not always successful. We’ve found that 1-2 verses of 2-3 songs are plenty. If you really want a sing along, we recommend leaving a maximum of 5 minutes towards the end of the show to ask guests to join in. If it works, great! If not, the carolers are always prepared to finish the performance.
We carry a large roster of carolers from all over the region, so we usually have your area covered. If there's a event in a remote area or we need to ask a singer to drive an excessive amount to cover a last minute request, we may assess a travel fee. These fees will be quoted in advance, so there are no surprises.
Yes - however we are professional singers and temperatures in December can be pretty chilly. If it's too cold for your guests to be outside, then they will be rushing by us to get inside. We’ll create the same effect if we sing right inside your front door, or provide some heat lamps to keep us warm and encourage your guests to stay to listen for a song or two.
We ask that you please let us know in advance if you'd like us to sing outside, so that we can don the correct apparel to keep warm.
A COI can be obtained for an additional fee. (approx $100 per date)
We do no accept credit cards. Most clients pay with a check, or e-payment using Venmo, Zelle or Paypal (Paypal payments will be assessed a 5% processing fee)
We really prefer to sing as a quartet. Think about why you want more/less singers.
YOU MIGHT NOT WANT A SEXTET OR OCTET BECAUSE...
If you’re thinking of booking a sextet or octet because it’s going to be a loud party and you’re worried the carolers won’t be heard, you’re probably correct. We are a cappella and can’t compete with the volume of a festive crowd. A quartet can easily stroll through a large event, though we’re always careful not to interrupt conversations. For larger gatherings, we recommend placing a quartet at the entrance to welcome guests as they arrive.
YOU MIGHT CONSIDER A SEXTET OR OCTET IF...
If your event is in a large facility and you’d like our voices to carry through a courtyard or shopping center, a larger ensemble may be the right choice. Singing as a sextet or octet is fun for us and creates an even bigger impact. Just keep in mind that more isn’t always better, and additional singers do come with added fees.
TRIOS?
On rare occasions, we do perform as a trio, but we really sound best with all four parts. The fee for a trio is the same as for a quartet.
Sure! We love being front & center. We do not have our own equipment, so each client will need to provide the microphones for the performance. 4 mics are preferred, but 2 mics can work.
